New research suggests, despite generally believing themselves to be time-poor, the majority of Brits would be more than willing to give up some of their modern frivolities in order to donate their time to volunteer causes.
Disaster relief charity, ShelterBox, has commissioned a survey into modern attitudes towards volunteering by asking ‘What would you give up to volunteer?’
In the studio to discuss the research further and how members of the public can get involved in National Volunteer Week this year was Harriet Roberts, ShelterBox’s Head of Support Outreach.
