Cooking is one of Britain’s favourite pastimes – we share pictures online, make food for our friends and family, and consume cooking content at an astronomical rate across an array of platforms.

Stop Food Waste day took place on Wednesday 24 April, an awareness campaign that seeks to address this issue.
Professor of Sustainable Waste Management Margaret Bates joined us on the day itself to share her advice.
