Channel 5's GPs Behind Closed Doors has moved to the North of England for the first time to The Ridge Medical Practice in Bradford.
The series offers a disarmingly honest and often entertaining look at the stresses, strains and joys of working in, and using, the NHS in modern Britain.
The health care professionals and staff at The Ridge Medical Practice have 23,000 patients on their books, with problems ranging from sore feet to self-harm. But, with GP surgeries facing unprecedented pressures and receiving less than 10% of the total NHS budget whilst handling 90% of its workload, how long can this vital community service survive?
We were joined by Dr Amir Khan from The Ridge Medical Practice, who told us what it was like for his surgery to become a film set.
