A new report suggests that there is a significant financial shortfall with over 50’s plans when intended to pay for the cost of a funeral as they don’t actually cover the overall cost.
The research says that most of us who pay in to these over 50’s plans to cover funeral costs end up leaving their loved ones £1,500 out of pocket meaning they have to still to pick up the bill, even though the plan was taken out to give them peace of mind.
