An investigation has been launched by Greater Manchester Police after shots were fired at a house in Hattersley.
At about 1.15am on Sunday 14 January, police were called to reports of shots heard on Torrington Drive.
Officers attended and discovered a firearm had been discharged at the front door of a house.
Damage was caused to the door as well as inside the property but luckily no one was injured.
Straight after the shots were fired, a person wearing dark clothing was seen running by Silverton Close towards Cheriton Close.
